Track...So it begins

So yeah, track started. So far we've had an intersquad meet (just Westlake) a Quad meet at Timpanogas, and an Invitational at Timpview. The Invite was such a flop. It was on thursday and friday and soooo cold! Thursday it was extremely windy and their "professional timer" broke. This caused a 2 hour delay...it was fun to kind of chill with my friends without the pressure of an upcoming race, nonetheless, the bitter cold began to wear on us and by 8pm we were ready to either race or leave entirely. They didn't run the seeded girls mile until around 9pm. It was dark and cold and I did not feel like running. But we did anyways. Once they actually shoot the gun the cold usually stops bugging because of all the adrenaline, but the dumb official was taking forever!! He made us all take out our headbands calling them "jewelry violations" Everyone knows you aren't allowed to wear jewelry in a race, but I would not call a headband a piece of jewelry. Anyways. He was getting on my nerves. As if we didn't waste enough time with the blasted timer. Friday was just sad. We rode this smelly bus all the way to Timpview, made snowmen, huddled in tents for about an hour and then they canceled it. AHH. I was kind of really annoyed. Why didn't they decide to do that hours ago when it was blizzarding like crazy. I missed a 3 hour dance co. rehearsal for that...Oh well. The rest of the day was fun, I got to hang out with my cousins and I played lazer tag for the first time. (I'm really awful at it!) Fun times. Today I had to go and take an AP Language practice test. 1 hour for 50 multiple choice questions, and 2 hours to write 3 essays. I officially hate anything english and I am sick of choosing the right words for a sentence. Thank you and Goodnight!
