Bryce Canyon!

So we had the Smith family reunion at Bryce Canyon this year. It was really fun, I always love hiking through red rock and hanging with the fam. The only annoying part is that like all of my cousins that we used to play with and adventure around with are married with kiddies so they're no fun to talk to anymore... Not that marriage and kids are bad, but I just can't relate and I get bored of their conversations now. :)

But my sisters and I had fun together as usual! Megan and I were hiking buddies. I also got extremely sunburned on my shoulders- second degree burns and they've got enormous blisters. It's nasty.

Also, this trip reminded me how I want to be an archeologist. It was my childhood "When I grow up, I want to be..." an archeologist. Of course when I was a childling I didn't know that term I just knew I wanted to go to egypt and dig up bones. *Sigh* Maybe someday.
Here are some pictures.
My head looks really big in this... haha :)

Cool desert tree.

Meganini taking cover from the blistering sun.

Megan and I were tired :)

  3. I'm sorry we "old" cousins are so lame and boring. Haha But you will be joining our ranks one day... somewhere in the far off future, of course. I'm glad you have your sisters and that Bryce was a blast for you anyway. Sorry about that awful sunburn!

    1. Yes. It was sweltering. And my shoulders probably have skin cancer :) But totally worth it!
