Fall break.....where are you?

I need a break. I'm tired, and sore, and I'm pretty sure my brain cannot handle one more stupid physics problem. I have awful grades, and my toes are currently bloody from Irish dance. But I can hold out to fall break! On a better note, I turned in my sterling scholar application today! Cross your fingers!. I'm also running at Cross Country State next Wednesday! For the first time ever. We're finally in a more down to earth region, and we qualified both boys and girls teams for state! I'm excited. It's a great way to end my last high school cross country season.
And now, for my rant. I hate our new orchestra teacher. He sucks. It doesn't help that he is coming in after the best orchestra teacher ever, but honestly. I don't enjoy that man. His name and appearance alone give him character; Randen Thayne Heywood. So from birth he had a hard life I guess, a name like that won't get you places. And he looks like a wild boar.
Now that we've established the basics, we'll move on to his personality. POMPOUS. He's so stuck up it drives me nuts. He will drone on and on about these collegiate musical terms and treat us like we're so stupid for not knowing them. "This is a G major melodic scale that goes up 20 percent more than a F minor scale harmonic. This is the principle of sliding scales or in pig latin, ;lkfja;lsdkfja....Oh, you don't know what that is? Hmmm." He's not very fun to learn from, he doesn't care who anyone is, he just wants us to play good. I miss Mr. Taylor!
